Cookies and tracking, kept minimal.

This site uses the smallest set of cookies needed to function. No advertising trackers. No third-party data collection. No popup banners required because there is nothing intrusive to consent to.

What we use, and what we don't.

The detailed cookie policy is currently being finalised. The summary below describes what is true today.

Cookies and similar technology used on this site:

  • Essential cookies only. Used for session management on the contact form (Netlify Forms anti-spam) and to remember basic preferences if any are added later.
  • No advertising cookies. We do not run advertising or remarketing on third-party platforms from this site.
  • No social media tracking pixels. No Meta Pixel, no LinkedIn Insight Tag, no X tracking.
  • Privacy-respecting analytics (planned). If we add analytics, it will be a privacy-first provider that does not require a consent banner under UK PECR. Examples we are evaluating: Plausible, Fathom, or server-side Netlify Analytics.

Cookies set by third parties when you visit this site:

  • Google Fonts is loaded from Google's CDN. This may set a small number of cookies under Google's own policy. We do not have access to that data.
  • Netlify (our hosting provider) may set short-lived cookies for site reliability and form submission anti-spam.

If we change the analytics or tracking on this site, we will update this page and reset any consent state.
