Accessibility, taken seriously.

ORBX is committed to making this website usable for everyone, including people who use assistive technology. We target WCAG 2.2 AA conformance and treat accessibility issues as bugs, not feature requests.

Our accessibility commitment in practice.

The detailed accessibility statement is being finalised. The summary below describes how we work today.

What we do:

  • Design and build to WCAG 2.2 AA standard, including colour contrast, focus indicators and keyboard navigation
  • Use semantic HTML so screen readers can interpret content correctly
  • Provide meaningful alt text on images that convey information
  • Avoid relying on colour alone to convey meaning
  • Test with keyboard navigation as part of every page release
  • Support text resizing up to 200% without loss of functionality

What we know is not yet perfect:

  • Some interactive components are still being audited against WCAG 2.2 AAA criteria
  • The newsletter and contact forms have not yet been fully tested with all major screen readers
  • Decorative gradients and SVGs have not all been formally audited for high-contrast mode

If you find anything on this site that is not accessible, we treat it as a bug and fix it. We do not require you to justify the request or run a workaround.

Report an accessibility issue

Email accessibility@orbx.co.uk with the page, what you were trying to do, and what went wrong. We respond within 5 working days and aim to fix issues within 30 days.
